A white wine from Bordeaux imbued with richness and precision
The property
Since 1611, the d'Arche family has been rooted in Bordeaux, starting its wine journey with Etienne d'Arche, regent doctor of the University of Bordeaux. His great-grandson, François d'Arche, Counselor of the King, acquired the Braneyre cru in 1733, renamed Château d'Arche. Despite the upheavals of history, notably the French Revolution, the estate has persisted. In 1855, it was classified as the 2nd grand cru of white wines from Gironde. Under the direction of Armand Bastit-Saint-Martin, mayor of Sauternes, a reunification of the estate was undertaken in 1925. In 1996, a new chapter opened with the purchase of Château d'Arche, with a vision focused on viticultural excellence and respect for the environment.
