Description
The precision and freshness of a Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé
The estate
Château de Rayne Vigneau is located in the commune of Bomme, overlooking the Sauternes appellation. Created in the 17th century, the estate has passed through the hands of several illustrious families such as the de Pontac family, closely linked to the great wines of Bordeaux. Today the château belongs to the Trésor du Patrimoine group.
The vineyard
Château de Rayne Vigneau 2022 is a Sauternes wine made from a 84-hectare vineyard on a single hilltop overlooking the appellation. The vines are 40 years old on average and are planted on a mosaic of soils. The vineyard is run sustainably with an intra-plot management.
