Description
A complicated and sophisticated 2016 red Haut-Brion
After a scorching 2016 summer, Haut-Brion's terroir was revitalised with rain on September 13th. The grapes that were planted in the Pessac-Leognan appellation reached optimum maturity. Merlot 57.5% and Cabernet Sauvignon 42.5% were harvested in September 19th and October 4th.
Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion red 2016 has a remarkably intense red-garnet colour. The nose is very aromatic and complex. On the palate, the attack is generous, broad and sweet. The wine is very full in the mouth. The tannins are full of class and a pleasure to enjoy. La Mission Haut-Brion red 2016 is without a doubt the most complete and charming wine from the estate in recent years.
