Chateau Lynch-Bages 2012: a balanced and powerful Pauillac
A 5th Classified Growth of 1855, Chateau Lynch-Bages is a red wine produced in the Pauillac appellation. With a total area of 90 hectares, the vineyard is planted on soils composed of Garonne gravel typical of the Left Bank. The ageing of the wine is carried out in oak barrels for 18 months with a proportion of 75% of new barrels. The Chateau Lynch-Bages 2012 blends 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26 % Merlot, 2 % Cabernet Franc and 1 % Petit Verdot.
The chateau Lynch-Bages 2012 is quite a classic wine from this estate, revealing itself to be balanced and powerful at the same time.
