The property

Founded in 1831, the Albert Bichot house embodies Burgundian excellence. Under the direction of Albéric Bichot since 1996, it extends over more than 100 hectares spread over six domains covering the entire Burgundy vineyard, from Chablis to Beaujolais. Known for its sustainable approach and its attachment to single varietals – pinot noir and chardonnay – the house values each terroir, particularly those classified as UNESCO World Heritage, through individualized management of its domains.

The vineyard

This Chambertin Grand Cru comes from a confidential plot of 17 ares resting on brown limestone soils. The vines, averaging 40 years old, benefit from an exceptional terroir that gives the wine all its depth and complexity.

Vinification and aging

The harvest is carried out by hand at perfect maturity. The vinification takes place in thermoregulated oak conical vats, with a maceration of about three weeks allowing a precise extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged between 14 and 18 months in oak barrels, 70% of which are new wood.

Grape variety

100% pinot noir.
