Château Capbern 2015

Capbern 2015 is a pleasant and generous Saint-Estèphe. The wine is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot  and 4% Petit Verdot, harveste between 18 and 25 September. The nose is expressive, offering pretty aromatic black fruits, and a feeling of freshness. On the palate, the wine has a good consistence and it’s organized around grippy fine tannins (though not aggressive). The finish is rich and fruit-driven. The whole offers good balance. An accessible yet quite complex wine.
