Château La Lagune 2015

La Lagune 2015 harvests were marked by a mild, sunny and dry weather with fresh nights (ideal during the ripeness phase for the flavour expression). The sanitarian condition was flawless until the last harvested bunch and those good conditions allowed optimum ripeness to be reached. The Lagune 2015 is a beautiful and intense purple-tinted red coloured Haut-Medoc. The aromatic expression is clear, pure, broad and fresh, still with finesse. Smashed blackcurrant and black berry, vanilla notes and violet scents go together to express the aromatic radiance of this wine. On the palate, the attack is dynamic. The mid-palate is willowy, round and full with great freshness. The whole is organized around a dense, silky and delicate tannic structure. In retro-olfaction, the wine is fleshy and fruity, so straightforward and in consistency with the nose. The finish is complex and powerful, with a great persistence. It is a complete wine created during a great vintage.
