Château Peyrabon oversees an extensive vineyard with an area of 36.5 hectares, planted with vines aged 27 years on average in sandy soils upon a clay subsoil. The vineyard also includes 5 hectares of clay-limestone soils.

The Château Payrabon 2017 is made from a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. The manual harvest of 2017 began on September 14 with Merlot and ended on September 29 with Cabernet Sauvignon.
