Chateau Sociando-Mallet is a wine produced in the Haut-Medoc on a 57 hectare vineyard. The grape varieties planted are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The average vine is 35 years old. The 2016 vintage of Sociando-Mallet is a blend of 50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were harvested from September 26^th to October 19^th.

Chateau Sociando-Mallet 2016 is very dark with violet hues. There are powerful aromas of black fruits, dominated by balsamic perfumes and wild blackberries. The nose is uninhibited and delivers pure and intense fragrances. The palate is powerful, but civilized, with a beautiful weight in the mouth. The combined finesse and power is proof of mastery and precision. A great Sociando-Malet.
