The property
La Fiorita, founded in 1992 in Montalcino, Italy, has been led by Natalie Oliveros since 2011. The estate extends over four vineyards with varied soils, promoting a complex expression of Sangiovese. The transition to organic farming, initiated in 2011 and certified in 2019, demonstrates its commitment to sustainable practices. The construction of a modern gravity-fed cantina between 2018 and 2019 helps to preserve the authenticity of the terroirs.
The vineyard
The Brunello di Montalcino comes from three different sectors of Montalcino: Collesorbo, Pian Bossolino, and Giardinello, offering varied soils, exposures, and altitudes.
Vinification and aging
The Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is aged for 3 years in large French oak containers, then for an additional year in the bottle before its commercialization.
Blend
Sangiovese (100%)
