Description
An Alsace white wine with delightful fullness and vivacity
The estate
Located in Bergheim, in the heart of Alsace, Domaine Marcel Deiss has been a brand ambassador for its region since 1744. It presents a unique and visionary approach to wine: the vines are planted together on the plots, with all the grape varieties receiving the same treatment as well as being harvested together. All the wines are also vinified in the same way. The choice of biodynamic agriculture strongly contributes to this protection of the terroirs in an Alsace which is one of the regions of France with the most varieties of soils. A dynamic estate, always ahead of its time, Marcel Deiss is unmissable, presenting a unique and exciting approach to wine.
The vineyard
Huebuhl 2015 from Domaine Marcel Deiss is an Alsace wine from a 1.6 hectare vineyard, located in Bergheim in Ribeauvillé. It is nestled between the Gruenspiel to the west and the Rotenberg to the east. The lacustrine clay soil and the windy and sunny weather conditions make this place a privileged theatre for the development of noble rot.
Blend
This cuvée is made up of a blend of Muscat and a complantation from the Pinot family.
