The estate

For more than 12 generations, Maison Trimbach has been a benchmark among the greatest wine producers of Alsace. The vineyard

Placed in the middle of the breathtaking village of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the Route des Vins d’Alsace, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir, both in terms of its soils of sandstone, limestone, marl and clay, and its oceanic influences due to the nearby Vosges mountains. Maison Trimbach tends a vineyard of 50 hectares spread over more than 50 plots and 9 villages.

The wine

Extremely rare because it is only produced in the best vintages, this 1994 Gewurztraminer from the Trimbach House is an Alsace wine produced from an exclusively manual harvest of grapes enriched with sugar thanks to noble rot, due to botrytis.
