The property
The history of Cantina Endrizzi begins in 1885. The philosophy of the owners, Paolo and Christine Endrici, is based on simple principles: understanding that wine is the final product of a succession of processes in which environmentally friendly agriculture plays a central role. In this logic, the estate has banned the use of chemical treatments on the estate and reduced the addition of sulfites in the wine. All these measures are one of the reasons why the wines of Cantina Endrizzi are so recognized. Indeed, these sublime Italian wines stand out for their unique character representative of the terroir of origin that saw them born and bearers of the Endrizzi signature.
The vineyard
Considered one of the oldest estates in Trentino, Cantina Endrizzi enjoys a charming location, south of the Alps, at the crossroads of the warmth of the Mediterranean climate and the freshness of the continental climate. The vineyards of Pian Di Castello, Masetto and Kinderleit are all located near the village of San Michele all'Adige, in the heart of the Adige, in Italy.
The wine
Teroldego Rotaliano Superiore Riserva 2020 is a wine from Trentino Alto Adige born from vineyards located in the Piana Rotaliana. There, the vines are traditionally trained on a pergola on a fertile gravel soil. The terroir benefits from a warm microclimate with a good temperature difference between day and night.
Vinification and aging
After manual harvesting during which the best berries are selected, the grapes are brought to the cellar to start a highly precise winemaking process. The destemmed berries first ferment at a controlled temperature for 15 days. This Italian wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and aging in barrels for 18 to 24 months.

Teroldego (100%), a native grape variety of Trentino, often nicknamed the "Prince" of the region's wines, due to its richness and elegance.
