The estate

Located in the Piedmont region, in Northern Italy, Produttori del Barbaresco was founded by the priest of the village of Barbaresco in 1958. In fact, in order to save the small local vineyards and perpetuate their know-how, he decided to merge the land of nineteen small producers together and make one estate. The wines by Produttori del Barbaresco are renowned for their elegance, full-bodied character and broad range of aromas.

The vineyard

Produttori del Barbaresco watches over a 100-hectare vineyard. The vines are planted on a tapestry of terroirs and rest on clay soils. Located in the heart of the "pre-alpine" hills, the vines are poised at an altitude ranging between 200 and 400 metres and give rise to fine Piedmont wines.

The wine

Produttori del Barbaresco's Langhe Nebbiolo 2020 stems from a selection of vineyards belonging to 54 winegrowers, all resting on calcium-rich clay-limestone soils.

Vinification and ageing

Following the harvest, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. Maceration for 20 days with pumping over twice a day. Malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 5 months in large oak barrels.

Nebbiolo (100%).

The tasting

This Langhe wine has a full-bodied character and exudes a broad range of red fruit, spice and white pepper aromas. The finish is persistent, with fine tannins and a pleasant balance.
