Description
The balance and the richness of a Bordeaux rosé wine
The estate
The origin of the name of the Domaine de La Solitude comes from the Holy Family religious organisation, members of which moved into the estate in the 19th century, entrusting its management to outside parties. Their motto was to pray in the silence of solitude. Since 1993, Olivier Bernard has been in charge of the property management. A very old estate in Martillac, Domaine de la Solitude stands out for the quality of its Pessac-Léognan wines, very good value for money, accessible in their youth with good ageing promise.
The vineyard
The Domaine de la Solitude vineyard spreads over 36 hectares of gravel soils on clay-gravel subsoil.
