The estate
Born from a deep passion for great wine terroirs, the Tardieu-Laurent estate was established in 1996 under the impetus of Michel Tardieu and his wife. In just a few years, this family house has established itself as an emblematic figure of the Rhône Valley, recognized for the remarkable quality of its cuvées.

For two generations, the estate has honored the diversity and richness of the most prestigious appellations - Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Condrieu, Hermitage, Vacqueyras, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage... - through elegant wines, with great aromatic precision, resulting from meticulous work at each stage of the elaboration.

The wine
The Côte-Rôtie "Vieilles Vignes" cuvée comes exclusively from exceptional terroirs located on the Côte Brune, notably Landonne, Lancement and Chavaroche. The vines, averaging over 60 years old and rooted in the heart of the slopes, produce grapes of great concentration, guaranteeing a wine with a solid structure and intense expression.

Vinification and aging
Vinified in whole clusters to preserve the authenticity of the grape variety, the wine undergoes aging in two phases: first 12 months in oak barrels (new and one wine), then an additional 12 months in foudres. This double refinement reveals all the complexity, finesse and breadth of the wine.

Blend
Entirely composed of Syrah, the emblematic grape variety of the appellation, this Côte-Rôtie "Vieilles Vignes" reveals with purity and intensity all the grandeur of its terroir of origin.
