The estate

Curious and innovative, he has travelled to the four corners of the world in search of inspiration: from the estates of Bordeaux to the sunshine of California and Australia, this composer is capable of ennobling the identity of a multitude of terroirs. Against the grain, this expert is not afraid to go beyond the specifications of the appellations to make wines that reflect his own personality. His exclusive creations, such as the Arcane collection, showcase all his creativity and promise wine lovers a remarkable sensory and taste experience.
The wine
Inspired by the cards in Visconti's first Tarot, the packaging for Xavier Vignon's Arcane series reflects the personality of each of the bottles: La Fortune 2020 refers to the Wheel of Fortune, a card in the deck associated with time, where every thing is only temporary.
The vineyard
From the Côtes du Rhône appellation, this wine is a blend from various appellations in the southern Rhône Valley, including Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise and Vacqueyras. Here, the emphasis has deliberately been placed on the diversity of the soils to allow the grapes to express themselves beautifully.
Winemaking and ageing
After fermentation and maceration at a moderate temperature, the wine is aged in the Wine Globe, in a 220-litre glass vat that allows small volumes to be vinified and aged separately.
