Description
The roundness and expression of a Burgundy white wine from Bruno Colin
The estate
Founded in 2004 by Bruno Colin in Chassagne-Montrachet in Burgundy, Domaine Bruno Colin perpetuates thousands of years of wine-making tradition. In fact, the first traces of vines in the Chassagne-Montrachet vineyard date back to 281 under the Roman Emperor Probus. With their finesse and definition, the wines of Domaine Bruno Colin are a precise and refined expression of the great terroirs of Burgundy.
The vineyard
At the origin of great Burgundy wines, Domaine Bruno Colin oversees a vineyard spread across the terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. The plots of 0.37 to 0.42 ares, from which this wine is made, was planted between 1981 and 2000 on clay-limestone soil.
Winemaking and ageing
