Description
A balanced and smooth Moulis
A 12-hectare property located in Grand Poujeaux, under the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, château Branas Grand Poujeaux belongs to Justin Onclin, who is also the director of the classified château Prieuré-Lichine in Margaux.
Branas Grand Poujeaux 2016 was elaborated from grapes harvested between September 28th and October 9th. This year, the team selected 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot for the blend. The wine is dense and intense in colour. On the nose, fruit is expressed generously in an appearance that blends power and harmony. The palate reveals tannins with a nice grain and a tactile sensation of smoothness and finesse. Fruit dominates the finish, which lingers with a refreshing length.
