The estate
Château Croizet-Bages, Pauillac Fifth Cru Classé, was founded in the 18th century. Thanks to its prestige, the château distinguished itself at world exhibitions in the 19th century. In 1942, the château was bought by a wine merchant by the name of Paul Quié, whose family still runs this prestigious estate.
The vineyard
Château Croizet-Bages 2022 is a Pauillac wine from a 30-hectare vineyard. Situated on the Bages plateau, the vines are on average 35 years old and planted on soils composed of deep gravel and gravelly sand.
Blend
Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (34%) and Petit Verdot (1%).
