Description
A refined and fruity Rosé Champagne
The property
The story of the Champagne Taittinger House began in the early 20th century. Led by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and his two children, Clovis and Vitalie, the Taittinger House has managed to maintain a family spirit by producing champagnes decidedly oriented towards a chardonnay style. Since January 1, 2020, Vitalie Taittinger has been the President of the Champagne Taittinger House.
The vineyard
The vineyard of the Champagne Taittinger House extends over 288 hectares of vines and includes 37 different crus. Taittinger is thus the third largest vineyard in Champagne. The entire vineyard is certified High Environmental Value.
Blend
The Prestige Rosé from Taittinger is the result of a blend of chardonnay (30%) and pinot noir (70%) from the Montagne de Reims and the Riceys, 15% of the juices vinified in red complete the blend.
