The intensity and structure of a red Grand Vin from Saint-Julien

Despite a turbulent start to the year, 2018 will be remembered as a prodigious vintage indeed.

2018 also saw the inauguration of a new vertical wine press at Château Saint-Pierre, located in the Saint-Julien appellation, on the left bank of Bordeaux.

The beautiful climatic conditions of the summer allowed the fruit to reach a perfect maturity, and achieve a great aromatic concentration and level of anthocyanins. The harvest took place peacefully between September 20^th and October 1^st. The first wines showed exceptional quality, beautiful colour and an intense aromatic expression.

A red grand Vin of Saint-Julien, the Château Saint-Pierre 2018 is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (77%) and Merlot (50%). Product of a great vintage for Bordeaux, the Château Saint-Pierre 2018 is showing signs of a perfectly accomplished Saint-Julien red wine.
