A 4th Classified Growth from Saint-Julien

4th Classified Growth from Saint-Julien, Chateau Talbot show the best qualities of the excellent 2016 vintage.

Chateau Talbot 2016 has a very dark, ink-like color. Initially the aromas are not very expressive, due to its high density. After aeration, the initial delicate floral fragrances are embellished notes of blackberries and black figs with hints of balsamic. The palate has a sensual and precise attack, and the fine-grain tannins are nicely ripe. The wine is suave and not overbearing. On the whole, the 2016 Talbot is balanced and charming with plenty of power.
