The estate

Voted Best Young Sommelier of France at the age of 21, Hervé Bizeul fell in love with the fairytale landscapes of the majestic Cirque de Vingrau, at the foot of the Pyrenees Orientales, in Roussillon. Restaurateur, writer and passionate for land and vine, Hervé Bizeul founded Domaine du Clos des Fées with his wife in 1997.

Over the years, the Domaine du Clos des Fées has become a major name among the finest wine labels in Roussillon. Expressing the singularity of their terroir of origin, these exceptional vintages delight with their intensity and balance while having a great ageing capacity.

The vineyard

Les Sorcières du Domaine du Clos des Fées is a Côtes du Roussillon wine developed from young Syrah vines (under 25 years old), and with a selection of Grenache and Carignan vines aged 40-80, planted on clay-limestone terroirs.  

Blend

Les Sorcières 2021 du Domaine du Clos des Fées is the result of a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan.
