The estate

An essential reference of Chablis, in Burgundy, the Domaine Laroche is particularly distinguished by a unique historical heritage dating back to the 9th century. Part of the Advini group since 2009, Domaine Laroche is recognized for the precision, elegance, and aromatic richness of its wines, which authentically express the subtlety of the Chablis climates.

The vineyard

Once surrounded by walls, hence its name "Clos", this Burgundy vineyard was planted with vines by the monks of the Abbey of Saint Martin de Tours in the 9th century. Located opposite the village of Chablis and benefiting from a southern exposure, it enjoys sunshine that promotes optimal maturity of the grapes. The well-drained soil contributes to the concentration of acidity and aromas in the grapes.

Vinification and aging

Harvested by hand, the grapes are rigorously sorted upon arrival at the winery. This Chablis wine has been aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and French oak.
