Description
2013 Pommard 1er Cru (Pinot Noir)
Pommard village is one of Cote de Beaune most famous appellations. Maison Faiveley's 2013 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens is produced from the region's leading grape variety: Pinot Noir.
The vintage reveals a dark ruby hue as well as scents of black fruits and spices, with wood and smoky notes. This Burgundy wine opens with strong texture -tannins are quite present and somewhat integrated. Familiar flavours from the nose coat the palate along with hints of wood from oak maturation. The 2013 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens boasts beautiful structure and great aromatic persistence: excellent keep potential.
