    Tasting

    Color
The color of this Puligny-Montrachet Village is adorned with a beautiful golden hue, enhanced by green reflections.

    Nose
The bouquet exudes aromas of wild flowers and white-fleshed fruits, accompanied by subtle toasted notes.

    Palate

A Puligny-Montrachet revealing the elegance of the great Burgundy terroirs

    The property

Founded in 1859 in Puligny-Montrachet, the Domaine Jean Chartron has been perpetuating the art of magnifying the great terroirs of Burgundy for five generations. Over time, it has patiently developed to gather nearly 14 hectares of vines, spread over exceptional parcels such as Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Clos des Chevaliers, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos du Cailleret and Clos de la Pucelle. These wines stand out for their refinement and purity, combining contained opulence with remarkable precision.

    The vineyard

Since 2014, the Domaine Jean Chartron has been cultivated using organic viticulture. They ensure respect for the vine, notably thanks to meticulous soil work, the management of sap flows during pruning and precise green work up to the harvest. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, benefit from a rigorous plantation management policy.

    Vinification and aging

The estate favors a vinification that highlights the purity of the fruit, with a balanced use of new barrels.
