The expression of the Montrose terroir in a great Saint-Estèphe wine
Showing off a unique identity, the La Dame de Montrose cuvée is produced with the same care and attention as the Grand Vin of Château Montrose, the prestigious Grand Cru Classé located on the Left Bank of Bordeaux.
First created in 1983, this wine pays homage to Yvonne Charmolue, who managed Château Montrose from 1944 to 1960.
La Dame de Montrose from Château Montrose offers a delicious expression of the Saint-Estèphe terroir in a supple wine that is accessible even in its youth.
The La Dame de Montrose 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (52%), Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The result of a magnificent vintage, often compared to 2009 and 2016, the La Dame de Montrose 2018 will be counted within the greatest vintages of Château Montrose.
