The property

A true gem of Languedoc, Les Vignes Oubliées was born from a project between Jean-Baptiste Granier and Olivier Jullien. The two enthusiasts have worked to preserve old high-altitude vines located in the town of Saint-Privat, in the Larzac, on shale, sandstone and clay-limestone soils. The vines are grown organically. With authentic and sincere cuvées inviting to sharing, meeting and generosity, Les Vignes Oubliées are the origin of very beautiful wines from Languedoc.

The vineyard

Produced since 2013, the Autour du Cinsault cuvée is a wine from the Coteaux du Languedoc from vineyards located in the town of Saint Privat. The vines rest on soils composed of sandstone and shale.

Vinification and aging

The vinifications are carried out with a constant search for respect for the fruit and preservation of the freshness conferred by the terroir. The grapes are sorted in the vineyard and then in the cellar before partial destemming. Maceration from 15 to 20 days. Fermentation with temperature control. Aging in demi-muids (10%) for 12 months in a natural cave.
