The estate
Louis Latour is the largest winegrowing estate in Burgundy, with a history of over 200 years of winemaking. Spread across the most beautiful plots of land in Premier and Grand Crus from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits, the 50-hectare vineyard of the Louis Latour estate gives rise to a range of wines from 130 appellations, each of which expresses with authenticity and refinement the characteristics of its original terroir.
This illustrious Burgundy estate has been actively engaged in environmentally conscious viticulture since 1996.
The vineyard
This Grand Cru "Perrières" 2020 is a Corton wine from the "Perrières" vineyard located on the hillside of Corton Grand Cru at an altitude of 273 metres. Facing south-east, these old vines are grown on brown and red clay soils.
Winemaking and ageing
Traditional fermentation in open vats, malolactic fermentation at 100%. Ageing for 10-12 months in oak casks (of which 50% were new) which come from the Louis Latour cooperage.
