Paul Jaboulet-Aîné : Domaine de Thalabert 2010

This 2010 Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert received 93 points from Robert Parker. It displays a bright and dark red colour with purple-tinted glints. The nose gives off red and dark berry fruit aromas, along with liquorice and minerality notes. The palate is soft and harmonious, still on liquorice and ripped fruit notes. Its finish is silky and persistent. Oldest vineyard of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, Domaine de Thalabert is domain Paul Jaboulet-Aîné property since 1834. The 40 to 60 year old Syrah vines perfectly develop on stony plains from the glacial period to create superb crus we get the chance to taste.
