A great white wine from Burgundy produced by Remoissenet Père & Fils, the Santenay 1er Cru "Clos de Tavannes" is produced from the great terroirs of Santenay, located to the south of the Côte de Beaune.

The "Clos de Tavannes" plot is planted in clay and limestone soils, on a steep slope.

Produced in limited quantities (4,000 bottles for the 2016 vintage), the Santenay 1er Cru "Clos de Tavannes" 2016 from Remoissenet Père & Fils seduces with its generous and ample palate, which offers a superb length. The Santenay 1er Cru "Clos de Tavannes" 2016 from the Remoissenet Père & Fils expresses the strong character and structure of Chardonnay planted on great red wine terroirs.

Its structure and minerality make it a great white wine from the Côte de Beaune, one which promises an excellent ageing potential of up to 10 years (2026-2027).
