Driven by the enthusiasm and passion of the late Catherine Péré-Vergé, Château Le Gay has become one of the most beautiful estates in the prestigious Pomerol appellation on the right bank of the Bordeaux region.

Catherine Péré-Vergé’s son, Henri Parent, runs the estate now. Château Le Gay is a benchmark consisting of wines that are distinguished by their generous, fleshy fruit.

Château Le Gay 2017 is a testament to the skills of its technical team that follow the precision and rigor Catherine Péré-Vergé established at the estate. From the vineyard to the winery, nothing has been left to chance and every step during the elaboration of the wines receives constant attention.

Merlot (90%) dominates the blend and is complemented with Cabernet Franc (10%). Château Le Gay 2017 is among the most beautiful expressions of this vintage that has come to be called a “winemaker’s” vintage.
