Description
The complexity and precision of a fine Margaux
Château Rauzan-Ségla is an emblematic estate in Margaux on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region, which represents the elegance and style the charm of its appellation.
With exceptional terroir, Château Rauzan-Ségla wines are distinguished by their righteousness and finesse.
Although a challenging vintage, the Château Rauzan-Ségla 2012 rewarded the estate with a beautiful vintage due to the efforts of the technical team. From the vineyard to the cellar, the greatest attention was paid to reveal the most beautiful expression of this new vintage.
As a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (54.5%), Merlot (44%) and Petit Verdot (1.5%), Château Rauzan-Segla 2012 offers the experience of a great Margaux in the classic style that exudes the charm of Rauzan-Ségla.
With its deep purple colour, Château Rauzan-Ségla 2012 reveals an aromatic palette of complexity and refinement. The bouquet has red and black berry notes with delicate heat from spice that cut through the bouquet to reveal graphite mineral notes. On the palate, the silky mouthfeel reveals concentration and tannins of great finesse that extend to a prolonged finish. The 2012 vintage is faithful to the identity of Margaux. It can be consumed now, but it still promises many more beautiful years of cellaring.
