A lively and well-structured white wine from Côtes de Provence
The property
Built under the reign of Napoleon III, the Château Minuty was purchased in 1936 by Gabriel Farnet who undertook to restore its former splendor. Thus, in 1955, the property entered the small circle of the 23 Classified Growths of the Côtes de Provence appellation. Then, the property crossed paths with Monique and Étienne Matton who, thanks to their dedicated work, greatly contributed to establishing the reputation of Château Minuty on the finest tables of the French Riviera. Today, brothers Jean-Etienne and François Matton are proudly carrying on the legacy while infusing the estate with a modern spirit.
The vineyard
On the Saint Tropez peninsula extends the 160-hectare vineyard of Château Minuty. On the slopes of Gassin and Ramatuelle, the vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate. With a southwest exposure, the sea breezes from the coast preserve the health of the grapes throughout the year. The soils are varied between shale and limestone which allows the cultivation of the different grape varieties of the house where they flourish best.
The wine
The M 2024 cuvée from Minuty is a wine from Côtes de Provence resulting from a rigorous selection of continental and maritime vineyards, cultivated in a reasoned way, like the entire vineyard of the estate, located within a preserved environment and a rich ecosystem.
