Beaulieu Vineyard : Key Points

In 1900, Georges de Latour and his wife Fernande discovered a vineyard in Rutherford, in California's Napa Valley, in the western United States. As a tribute to the beauty of the area, Fernande de Latour named it "Beau Lieu". Shortly afterwards, the couple acquired a ranch and founded the Beaulieu Vineyard estate with the ambition of producing great Napa Valley wines capable of rivalling the finest French crus.

The wines of Beaulieu Vineyard soon became renowned. The first vintage of "Private Reserve" was produced in 1940. Today, this wine is a veritable emblem of the estate.

Beaulieu Vineyard's world-renowned wines embody the excellence of the Cabernet Sauvignon produced in the Rutherford area of California.
