It is part of the history of the prestigious Antinori family, renowned for its unwavering commitment to producing wines of exceptional quality for over six centuries. Located between the towns of Montepulciano and Cortona, the estate is a veritable jewel in the crown of Tuscany's wine-growing heritage, bearing witness to the know-how and passion that characterise the Antinori family.
The vineyard
Vigneto Santa Pia Riserva 2018 by Antinori - La Braccesca is a Tuscan wine made from a vineyard spread over around 20 hectares, within a terroir known for its rich clay-limestone soils, conducive to viticulture. The estate, situated at an altitude of 300 metres, enjoys a temperate climate, ideal for the development of Sangiovese, the grape variety used to make this wine.
Winemaking and ageing
After being hand-picked and sorted, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats. This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months, followed by a resting period in bottle before being released on the market.
