The estate
Founded in 1782 and present in 9 Burgundian appellations, Domaine Henri Rebourseau is one of the estates which owns the most extensive surface area of Grands Crus in the Côte de Nuits. The estate hails its exceptional heritage-filled vines, resting on land that has been cultivated for over 1,400 years. Today, the de Surrel family work this exceptional heritage with organic and biodynamic farming practices. Thus, there is no unique "Rebourseau taste" and the estate's quality-oriented approach emphasises the crucial part that the ''climat'' plays in the production of fine wines.
The vineyard
Domaine Henri Rebourseau stretches over the emblematic Burgundy terroir Côte de Nuits.
The wine
"La Brunelle" 2019 is a Gevrey-Chambertin Village wine that comes from a 2.78 hectare plot cultivated solely by the estate. The vines, 33 years old on average, rest on brown, limestone soils with a subsoil made up of silt, sand and clay.
