The property
In the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the Domaine la Rouillère, created in 1900, was reborn in 1998 with the purchase of the estate by Bernard and Magali Letartre. Combining tradition and innovation, these two enthusiasts express all the charm of these terroirs through rosé wines recognized for their quality and aromatic expression.
The vineyard
Located on a generous land bathed in sun and tempered by the sea breeze, the 45-hectare vineyard of Domaine La Rouillère is the origin of great wines from Côtes de Provence.
Vinification and aging
After the harvest, the grapes are cooled by a tubular exchanger as soon as they arrive at the winery. The berries then undergo pneumatic pressing followed by a first selection of juices. The fermentation is thermoregulated and then the wine is racked to be aged on fine lees until bottling.
