Made from a blend of 90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, the Chateau Troplong Mondot 2015 perfectly expresses the excellence of its rare clay-limestone terroir, located at the top of the Mondot hill, facing Cote Pavie, on a plateau overlooking the picturesque village of Saint-Emilion.

The Chateau Troplong Mondot 2015 presents a deep dark red colour with purple reflections. The aromatic palette is dazzling with the purity of its fragrances, constantly evolving with notes of ripe fruit, cherry, creme de cassis and spices. All of the richesse of Merlot expresses itself on a palate concentrated with flavour and offering tannins with superb density. A very classy wine from a remarkable vintage!
